BROADVIEW PARK ANNEXATION

Broadview Park is the unincorporated are just south of Peters Road and is bordered by State Road 7 to the east and the Turnpike to the west. This are has been passed over several times over the years by the cities of Ft Lauderdale, Davie and Plantation.
The most recent news is that the cities of Ft Lauderdale and Davie do not wish to annex them. The Broadview Park Homeowners Association met with Mayor Armstrong to discuss annexation and came up with a list of several issues that must be accomplished before they could be annexed. They are:
1. New Fire Station on SW 46 Ave, 2. New sidewalks, streets, water mains, etc, 3. McGinnis Lake property and land by the New River turned over to the city for a park, 4. CRA developed for the remainder of State Road 7, 5. Code Enforcement sweep, 6. Old water plant deeded to Plantation
Keep checking back here about this annexation as it directly influences our homes and property values.
