LIVING ENDS

Back in the early 1990's, the city of Plantation closed off all the roads leading into Country Club Estates by erecting a wall.  As a result, there were very ugly dead ends at the streets leading into the walls.

The city of Plantation, in conjunction with your homeowners association were able to have each of the dead ends turned into living ends by planting and landscaping them

The Living Ends are located at all the dead ends in our community.  As part of the agreement, the association is responsible to care for and weed the ends 3-4 times a year.  The city of Plantation takes care of picking up the weeds and drops off new mulch several times a year.

The following are neighbors who have agreed to take care of the Living Ends:

SW 3rd Street – Ron and Suzie Streicher and Kelly Whitney

SW 4th Street - Joe Amador and Derek and Nancy Burch

SW 5th Street - Helga Layun, Dawn Raduano, and Conrad and Sandy Ruiz

SW 6th Street – Karen Perkins, Tony Mancelli, Anne Smith, Jose Velez, and Wayne Bishop

SW 7th Street – Juan Velez and George Lord

SW 8th Street – Luis and Gladys Dalmau and Michael and Sandy Madraymootoo

SW 11th Street – Joe and Patrice Mercogliano, Joseph Sockman and Balu Vandar (Other volunteers needed)

SW 42nd Ave. – Joe and Patrice Mercogliano and Derek and Nancy Burch (Other volunteers needed)
